Join us on Sunday, October 13th at 3pm for a free-to-attend closing reception and gallery talk to hear from exhibiting artists Chloé Rossetti, Maddie Hewitt, Levi Bentley, The Institute of Queer Ecology and LifeLines: Voices Against the Other Death Penalty before their shows close at 6pm!
The gallery talk/tour will be moderated by Roopa Vasudevan – visual artist, computer programmer, researcher and new Vox Populi Member! Vasudevan’s work uses data and technology in order to interrogate or subvert social and cultural practices. She is primarily interested in the historical reading of data as a form of collective memory, how surveillance and data collection are altering our notions of what archives are and who is remembered, and coming up with more creative and ethical practices for tech-based art and design.
