KIDZ is an indie rock band formed in 2015 in Philadelphia, including members: Jing Liu (vocals), Ningwei Li (lead guitar), Yuchen Zhang (rhythm guitar, vocals), Jiawei Zhou (bass), and Zizhong Wang (drums). Three years ago, the band members met each other in a singing competition at University of Pennsylvania. Fueled by a mutual interest in rock music, the band began making punk/rock covers of pop songs, and started to gain attention by college students after several performances at UPenn. In 2018, KIDZ started to explore styles and experiment on fusing genres such as progressive metal, electronic music, and hip-hop music, and began to record original tracks since then.
