Love Finds A Way

Flyer designed by Gerard Curtis

Spring isn’t gentle. It’s a violent force of life. Like the ram, we thrust into a new season, breaking through winter’s weight with power, urgency, and desire. It takes energy to shake off the cold, to return, to find ourselves again in the chaos of new bloom. And like spring’s rebirth, house music is a return—a reminder, a reawakening of the body in tune with itself.

Love Finds a Way is an homage to the spirit of Love Saves the Day Loft parties. Dancing, again and again, has been my return. Another turn around the sun, and now, as life rushes back, I take this moment to celebrate the generative force found in collective movement and deep joy.

On March 29th in the Black Box at Vox Populi, Boyz II Them (Russell E.L. Butler & ADAB) crack open the night with jacking house and hazy, percussive soul, propelling our bodies into motion. Kiernan Laveaux conjures dancefloor rapture, driving us into ecstatic release. DJ Anarres calls us back, grounding the night’s wild energy into something whole.

Above, a massive net installation holds a sea of balloons stretched to the breaking point—building pressure, holding tension, until, at the peak of the night, they burst into release. This is movement. This is transformation. This is the pulse of life, breaking through.
