ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

Habits are expressions of behavioral patterns. Mother universe has this habit of expressing theirself in repetition. Obsessively, intricately, simply, predictably and randomly. A pattern of patterning. I am observing and synthesizing. Drawing letters and writing pictures.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Oluwafemi is a rhythmist based in Philadelphia, originally from Lagos, Nigeria. He explores how our lives embody and reflect the universal phenomenon of pattern and repetition. For 15 years, his visual and musical work has spanned deejaying, music production, pen illustration, painting, digital still and video art.
