Faustine is a horror-comedy musical adaptation of the traditional Faustian myth, set in a contemporary academic environment. 16+

Vox member Ollie Goss presents Leda, a surreal mix of puppetry, politics, and myth. Dreamlike and strange, the piece considers transformation, property, and ritual—with an ambient score and, yes, a funeral for a sausage.

Recorded between 2021-2025 in North Philadelphia, Thin Walls is a project utilizing the sounds of abandoned apartments, trash, broken game consoles, Cheap Toy instruments, broken instruments, and many other various found objects, to create a conceptual work based around memory, isolation, and space.

“PARA SA INANG BAYAN: A Primer on US Militarism in the Philippines & the Path Towards Genuine Independence” is a teach-in diving into the negative impacts of the US military in the Philippines and expanding on our US Out of the Philippines campaign. The study will go into the history of US presence in the Philippines and how that has contributed to the economic, political, environmental, and cultural depletion of the Philippines today.

Come out for a night of nostalgia as we relive the Blog Era of Hip-Hop. There will be an open cypher over classic instrumentals from this time and an opportunity for everyone to rank their top 10 influential Blog Era Mixtapes.

Anakbayan Philadelphia’s “No Saviors, We Free Ourselves” exhibition at Vox Populi addresses the ongoing struggle for true independence in the Philippines and across the Filipino diaspora as we confront the presence of US military on Philippine land and sea. This cultural night allows kababayans (compatriots) and comrades to unite in the grief and joy of our struggle in combating US imperialism in our homelands.
