Part 1 Guided Meditation and Lecture on The Wisdom of Achieving Nothing by Michael Carroll
Michael Carroll has been practicing meditation since 1976 and is an authorized teacher in the Kagyu-Nyingma lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. He has lectured on the topic of bringing mindfulness-awareness into the workplace at Wharton Business School, Swarthmore College, Virgina Tech, Columbia University, Drexel University, University of Sydney, Toronto University, Kripalu, Zen Mountain Monastery, Omega Institute and many other institutions throughout the US, Canada, Europe and Australia.
Part 2 Reading and Re-Imagining of Anias Nin’s Delta of Venus by Melissa Daum
Melissa Daum is a Professor of Jungian Studies and Dream Analysis at Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland. Melissa is a licensed professional counselor and provides psychotherapy to patients suffering from schizophrenia, addictions, and other mental illnesses. She has also been a yoga instructor since 2007 and is certified in Trauma Sensitive Yoga for PTSD. Melissa’s current research focuses on the psychological interpretations of fairy tales, with an emphasis on motifs having to do with bewitchments, hair, and women in towers.
