Shorts Screening and 2-Person Play

Allow us an evening with your guides Parker Sera and Gerardo Salazar-Borja as they take you back to an evening in 1800’s Ukraine life. Bogdan (Gerardo) witnesses his granddaughter Adalina (Parker) being bullied. As they are both saddened by the event, it is up to Bogdan to be able to bring life to their solemn cabin. Watch as the two conjure up the old folktale of Masha and the bear by way of bringing warmth to their hearts, and bring happiness to their village.

Accompanying us during this lovely event will be a selection of short films which will precede the play. Filmmakers from all around will share their stories of the ups and downs of family life, and what the idea of family means.
