Black Box

Install View: Lorena Molina – Balancing Act

Our 1000sq.ft. Black Box performing arts space is curated by a committee of our collective members. Equipped with a PA, mixer, projector and various A/V equipment, Black Box operates as both an exhibition and programming space.

During open gallery hours, Black Box features new film/video work by emerging artists as part of our 4th Wall series. We have hosted long and short-form film and video work by local, national and international artists through this program. Outside of gallery hours, Black Box regularly presents public programs spanning multiple genres including music/sound, theater, poetry, film, drag, various workshops, and more. Black Box programming focuses on experimental modes of performance and new media presentation, consisting of one-off live events and ongoing series curated by artist members and by community partners.
