Mutual Irradiation, in conjunction with the installation Shadow from a World Apart, present performances by Model Home and Michul Kuun (Nah).
Formed in 2017, Model Home is the DC-based abstract music project of experimental musician Patrick Cain and southeast rapper NappyNappa.

NAH (aka Michul Kuun) is a producer, percussionist, and visual artist currently splitting his time between Philadelphia and Antwerp. A staple of Philly’s rich avant-garde scene, NAH is a prolific sound sculptor who’s developed a dynamic synthesis of textured noise and confronting percussive rhythms. Performing live with little more than a drum kit and various samplers, he channels a frenetic energy that teeters on the edge of violent hostility and playful chaos.

About Mutual Irradiation
Mutual Irradiation is an interdisciplinary performance and lecture series initiated by Jim Strong. Referencing a Quaker devotional text, Mutual Irradiation refers to as an inner radiance which can be mutually drawn between the listener and the one being listened to, in the pull of deep conversation and sharing. A category of listening which in a social and reciprocal context behaves like the connecting of a circuit, beginning a transmission of radiance, intimacy, ideas, blueprints…
