Baltimore-based New Delhi sitarist and vocalist Ami Dang performs at Aux performance space in Philadelphia
on Thursday, January 10th, 2013. Percussionist K8 Levitt and producer Schwarz will join her onstage,
offering a unique blend of electronic and traditional Indian sonorities. The self-described “Bollywave” ensemble
will headline the concert at 10pm.
Philadelphia audio/video artist A. P. Vague will be performing a computer-improvised set including live guitar
and randomized visuals. Also joining the event is Kali Ma, whose remixes sweep from EDM to drone and feature
unique arrangements of various electronic artists. Slobba Ranks of Philadelphia’s grimewave scene will
perform, along with experimental hip hop solo act 185668232.
