Vox Populi presents four solo shows by artists grappling with challenging issues of socio-political strife using non-pedantic, highly personal, and poetic means. In coinciding solo exhibitions, Mark Stockton, Mary Patten, Catherine Pancake, and Edgar Endress explore image, power, and propaganda – examining environmental sensing, sociological traces, and political repetition – through photography, video, drawing, and text.
Please join us on Friday, December 4th from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm for the opening receptions for: Mark Stockton, Of Consequence; Mary Patten, Panel; Catherine Pancake, Bloodland; and Edgar Endress, BON DIEU BON.
In Fourth Wall, Video Snack (an informal video screening series that began in 2013) will present Video Snack 5, videos selected from the organization’s fifth open call.
First Fridays at Vox Populi are generously supported by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.
