On Friday, August 3, from 6-10pm, Vox Populi will be celebrating the closing weekend of our 14th annual juried exhibition, VOX XIV: Omnipresent Elsewhere, during our monthly First Friday celebration. Juried by artist Didier William, Omnipresent Elsewhere features the work of 20 artists selected from our 2018 open call.

About the juror
Originally from Port-au-prince Haiti, Didier William received his BFA in painting from The Maryland Institute College of Art and an MFA in painting and printmaking from Yale University School of Art. His work has been exhibited at the Bronx Museum of Art, The Museum of Latin American Art in Long Beach, The Fraenkel Gallery, Frederick and Freiser Gallery, and The American Academy of Arts and Letters. He was an artist in residence at the Marie Walsh Sharpe Art Foundation in Brooklyn, NY and has taught at Yale School of Art, Vassar College, Columbia University, and SUNY Purchase. His work has been reviewed by Hyperallergic, Two Coats of Paint, Los Angeles Times and New York Times. He is currently Associate Professor of Art and the Chair of the MFA Program at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia. More info: www.didierwilliam.com
