Spruce Street Harbor Park is one if the most beautiful additions to the Philadelphia. For most of the pop-up season, there is no active programming — it’s a place to relax, drink a beer, enjoy the cool breezes and swing in a hammock.
However, on July 24th, the Delaware River Waterfront Corp will be building a stage in the middle of the park and to put on a free concert featuring Philly-local bands Purling Hiss and Chris Forsyth & the Solar Motel Band. The concert, which is also a benefit for Vox Populi Gallery, will feature sculpture and synched video projections by Vox Populi artist-members. This is one of only two concerts that will take advantage of this incredible outdoor space for a night of music, food, friends, drinks, light installations and the beauty of the riverfront.
