About the Event
Join artist and historian Wesley Flash for a free-to-attend gallery talk with the artists and curators whose work is currently on view at Vox Populi. Hear from exhibiting artists Sharon Koelblinger, Abigail Lucien, Lane Speidel and Jim Strong, as well as Wit López – curator of Buenas Vibras: A Celebration of LGBTQ+ Latinx Artists – as Flash leads the public through each of Vox’s galleries.

About Wesley Flash
Wesley Flash is an artist and historian. His work re-imagines queer liberation movements through site-specific performance in public space. He also writes a zine about magic called Witch, Please!, teaches Tarot workshops, and reads cards for clients by appointment. Wesley debuted PRIDE PARADE in the 2017 Fringe, collaborated with feminist performance collective BabySkinGlove from 2009 – 2014 and co-created Whose Streets Our Streets, a walking tour and web project about queer resistance in New York’s West Village in 2014. Since 2015, Wesley serves as Spiritual Facilitator at BuoyRR, a retreat and residency for artists in Connecticut where he leads meditation and movement workshops. Wesley holds an MA in Media Studies from the Gallatin School at New York University and a BA in Media Studies from Hampshire College.
