Vox member Jim Strong‘s ongoing Mutual Irradiation series, in conjunction with the featured installation Shadow of a World Apart present Texas-based sound artist, Kimberly followed by a performance by Rick Weaver and Alex Tominksy!

Kimberly is the recent work by San Antonio based performance artist Nicki Apostolow. Apostolow utilizes fitness and theatrics in sound art made with found objects, turntables, and manipulated/altered vinyl records to create an erratically pulverized musique concrete. Performances teeter on physicality and fragility, delivering a raucous with a feminine touch.
