PHASE IV
Performances + Film + Video
Featuring Camilo Cárdenas, Natalie Hutchings, Moon Rodríguez-Decker and Mafe Valero
Friday, March 15, 2019 | 7:30-10PM
Phase IV presents four artists’ distinctive takes on themes of evolution, transformation, memory and the reassessment of identity through film, performance, video, and installation. Emotional labor, burden, alter egos, façade and creative personas explore and reinterpret personal and collective experiences and space, social interactions and the potential for a shared experience. The work presents a variety of tonal approaches ranging from dreams, cultural narrative, futurism, frustration and the hope for fostering a more positive future perspective.
