Spacin’
Something about hackeysacking and tacos or bongrips. Pleasantly acclaimed “Deep Thuds” LP out on Richie Records

Columboid
This NYC duo features not only former members of Coyote, Holy Fallout, Vaz, and Black Acid but also the cooler, funnier, older brother of the bass player of Spacin’.
New LP, Monster Vision, out on La Société Expéditionnaire (Arc In Round, Mako Sica, Lewis & Clarke)
“This record’s got something I love in an album, continuity. There’s no “Reggae Song” stuck in here. No left field shit you have to endure/pretend to like. If you want a record you can get into like a hot tub, this is it. Lots of slow unraveling in these songs, which feel like one long song, you know like classical music, but in a good way. It’s full of foreboding, rolling drums, fuzzy keyboards, drone. All good shit the last time I checked.”
