(no one turned away for lack of funds)

Come into the dark and listen at the official release soirée for VENUS SATURN SQUARE. This trans-centered erotic zine unfurls from its printed confines for an evening to thrill and confound desires.

Is it possible to write yourself out of a blocked situation and into your own fantasies? VENUS SATURN SQUARE straddles a nebulous rift between fandom kink, queer cruising, and BDSM scenes. VSS hopes to become a vehicle centering people who find themselves stuck, conflicted, in denial, or self-sabotaging of their own desires.

Come ready to lurk-xuriate in low lighting and heavy listening. Listening masks and phone check will be on offer for a low-distraction experience, along with glow bracelets for anyone who’d rather not talk.

Copies of VENUS SATURN SQUARE’s debut issue will be for sale. It features six smut stories by fledgling and experienced storytellers, and includes a desire practice worksheet to work through your own hang-ups. 52 pages.

Lou Cornum
…a mysterious figure from Arizona who these days hovers mostly over New York City.

….a Black writer + sex educator born and raised in Philadelphia. After seroconverting to HIV+ in 2012, they found personal empowerment through kink/BDSM + long term AIDS survivor communities learning low-risk formats for engaging the body against a sex negative medical industry. Their writing has appeared in the inaugural issue of the HIV Howler, Racebaitr, Argot Magazine, and Rolling Stone. The internet as a site of queer utopia, envisioning the body beyond the male gaze, and digital archiving inspires a great deal of their online presence. A long term word deviant, they are honored to (re)envision the ways Black/brown queer + trans folks can connect carrying on in the longtime tradition of written black erotics from Jean Toomer to Samuel Delany to Zane.

Evie Snax

She is a digital portrait artist, curator, hustler, camera slut, and queer indie porn enthusiast. Currently she is co-producing Hot Bits, a touring queer sex-posi film and arts festival.
