Pittsburgh-based Yes Brain Dance Theater is pleased to bring a reimagining of their debut work “Love. . . And A Little Torture” to the Philadelphia Fringe Festival. What is the line between love and hate? Is there any space between push and pull? Marinating on these questions, five performers live through a tense interpretation of the themes of Sam Shepard’s “Fool for Love,” swapping roles and bringing together dance and theatrical improvisation for a roller coaster ride through the dark recesses in our own hearts. Combining a unique range of unexpected experimental movement and interpersonal drama, Yes Brain will fill the stage with cowboys, tequila, and dance.
