personal waste (cardboard, aluminum cans), oyster shells, water, resin, pump, spray foam, paint
There is another future gurgling beneath this one.
Fountains such as these can be found in estuaries along the eastern coastline of what was formerly known as the united states of america. They commemorate the early years of the Spat Solution, a collaboration between oysters and humans that is often credited with restoring health to various water systems throughout these coastal communities. Although the fountains vary in style regionally, this specimen reflects the general approach.
