Errata is a two-person show featuring Micah Danges and Luke Stettner, curated by Vox member Becky Suss. Stettner’s work for this exhibition includes small photographs, fruit pits, drawings on blackboard surfaces, graphite-rubbed wood frames, and paintings that reference an enigmatic and nearly recognizable grammatical language. Each is a study in essentialism. Danges’ work for this exhibition includes several photo-based collages that explore surface, texture and placement, and are each derived from one of two single images of a greenhouse.
Luke Stettner received his BFA from The University of Arizona, his MFA from The School of Visual Arts, and attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture. Recent exhibition venues include Kate Werble Gallery (New York, NY), Stene Projects (Stockholm, SE), and The Kitchen (New York, NY).
Micah Danges received his BFA at Kutztown University, was a former Vox Populi Member, and a 2013 Fleisher Wind Challenge Grant recipient. Recent exhibition venues include The Woodmere Art Museum (Philadelphia, PA), The Institute of Contemporary Art (Philadelphia, PA), and The Print Center (Philadelphia, PA). Stettner is represented by Kate Werble Gallery.
