**NOTE: While the galleries on First Fridays are free-to-attend, please note that tickets to the play are $5-$20 (to pay the actors) and will be on-sale outside Gallery 4 the night-of beginning at 6pm. No one turned away for lack of funds.
Join us on Friday, December 6 from 6-10pm for December First Friday! We’ll be celebrating our current exhibitions by Jova Lynne, Emily Oliveira, Nat Pyper, Lane Speidel, Jim Strong and The Philadelphia Queer Elders Project!
At 8pm, Lane Speidel will premiere their new play “One Day I Hope Somebody Will Love Me” within their installation in Gallery 4.
One Day I Hope Somebody Will Love Me
A love story and a tragedy taking place within the selves, in all time or at least most time, on most days. Most characters did not give their permission to be depicted nor are aware of their choices or roles in this play.

Death/Desire – Nuna Ulises/Phoebe Finch
Grief/Pain – Mal Cherifi/Billy Ray Boyer
Ghost – Marion Horowitz
Hole/Whole – Jensen Huff
Lane – Lane Speidel
It should be noted that there are limited seats available and tickets can be purchased night-of beginning at 6pm on a first come, first served basis. Once the play starts exits and entrances are not recommended.
