Soon there will be a museum located inside One World Trade Center, A.K.A. "The Freedom Tower". As a tribute to the victims of September 11, 2001, the museum is interested in collecting tragic stories from all of their children. Interview number 5,234 is Sarah, a young woman determined to tell a different story.

This evening in two acts: a screening, “The Fantasies Given to Us May Never Be Fixed,” of recent video that force the performance of masculinity into crisis, often from the margins; and a performance by Philadelphia-based artists, Kris Harzinski and Will Haughery, whose collaborative practice embraces a vocabulary of hypermasculinity as a manner of critique. This event will also feature a short discussion and talkback with Harzinski and Haughery after the performance.

The concluding performance of James’s curatorial fellowship includes new dance performances by New York-based choreographer and dancer niv Acosta and Philadelphia-based choreographer and dancer Jumatatu Poe. Both artists use movement to both deconstruct and rearticulate modes of embodiment, representation, and identification.
