Call for New Members

Vox Populi is a member-run artist collective. Vox artists mount a solo exhibition each 15 months and are eligible to participate in group and traveling exhibitions. During these exhibitions, artists are encouraged to take risks and experiment while working in a non-commercial and supportive collective environment.

Vox artists also have the chance to curate shows and organize educational and related programming, including the use of the performance venue, AUX. Membership is open to any artist living in the Philadelphia area, but limited to those who are not current students. Members participate in all aspects of the gallery’s administration and programming, working in consonance with the Executive Director and Board of Directors. Vox Populi is also open to applications by performers, curators, writers, multi-media or interdisciplinary artists, who may take on a slightly different role within the organization. Tell us in your application how you might participate!

There is a one-time initiation fee of $100.00 for new members; monthly dues are $55.00. Members are required to staff the gallery three hours each month, attend monthly meetings, and contribute to the collective management of the gallery.

Please visit our SlideRoom page for an application.
There is a $10 fee, which covers SlideRoom administrative costs.

Applications are reviewed by the artist-membership of Vox Populi. Mailed or emailed submissions will not be reviewed.
