Freedom Is An Endless Meeting integrates diagrams, text, and sketches from archival sources alongside original drawings from Vox Populi members to map the complexities of collaboration, group dynamics, and collective movement-building.

Bonding over our shared love and worship of Boot Boys Biz, over the last five months a small group of Vox Populi members devoted time to discovering shared interests, mining books, and educational texts, and exploring Maia Chao’s private, cataloged collection of thousands of digitized illustrations. These meetings, conversations, Google Docs, and texts in our dedicated group chat created their own kind of ephemera, and we all drew exercises to map out how we experienced the structure of the Vox Populi collective. This edition’s “T-Shirt Heaven” team included Blanche Brown, Stephanie Bursese, Maia Chao, Eve Greensweig, and Cynthia Zhou.

Each purchase supports Vox Populi’s continued efforts to provide a platform for underrepresented artists, foster innovative performances, and nurture community organizing.
